Change Layer GDB Versions

In the Version Manger you can create a new version or apply a version to the layer(s) you have loaded.

Create a New Version

  1. Click New in the bottom right corner of the dialog.
  2. Enter a Version name and optional Description for the new version.
  3. Select the Access permission of the new version from the dropdown list:
  • Private - only the version owner, feature layer owner, and portal administrator can view, and edit
  • Protected - any portal user can view, but only the version owner, feature layer owner, and portal administrator can edit (must have the correct user type and access to the feature layer)
  • Public - any portal user can view and edit (must have the correct user type and access to the feature layer)
  1. Click Create version.

Apply a Version

  1. Check the box beside the version you want to apply.
  2. Click Apply.

Manage Versions

  1. Click the 3-dot icon in the far-right column of the version.
  2. Select from the following actions:
  • Export - downloads a csv file with information about the selected version to your device
  • Delete - delete the version
  • Recreate - deletes and recreates the version
