Capture Now

The Capture feature gives you the ability to add the location of an asset based on your current GPS location.

Capture a Point​

  1. Verify the location on the map at where the new point asset is.
  2. Click Capture Now and a new unsaved point is added.

Capture a Line or Polygon​

  1. Verify the location on the map at where the start of new line or polygon asset is.
  2. Click Start Capture
  3. Move forward to continue capturing the vertices of the line or polygon asset. ::: note Info To cancel the capture at any time, click Cancel Capture. Pause collection to do something else by clicking Pause Capture, then when ready to continue, click Resume Capture to continue collecting vertices, proceed to step 4 to finish. :::
  4. Click Complete Capture finish capture.
